Nick has caused quite a ruckus at school by changing the word pen to frindle. He was bound to get into trouble, now he has the principal visiting his house. What would you do if Mr. Moch showed up at your house?

1.Mrs.Chathman was disappointed in Nick and she wanted all the kids to stop saying the word frindle.
ReplyDeleteShe went to Nick's parents because he started it all. Nick's parents were embarrassed, but they stood up for Nick.
2. No I think Nick shouldn't get in trouble because he made up a new word and it was English class and they were studying dictionaries.

1. When Mrs. Chatham came to Nicks house she was disappointed. She wanted Nick to stop Nick and his friend's from using the word frindle. Nicks mom said it is not a bad word and they should be able to say it. Nicks Mom and Mrs. Chatham argued a little bit and then Mrs. Chatham left.
ReplyDelete2. No Nick should not have gotten in trouble. It is not a bad word. Just because the word is not in the dictionary he should still be able to use it. He learned in English class how words are made and Nick wanted to make his own.
